Congratulations to Qbic Technology. Two of its BookBuddy desk-booking devices, the TD-0360 BookBuddy and the TDD-1000 BookBuddy Connect, have each won a Taiwan Excellence Award 2027. As Qbic’s Australian distributor, we’re proud to see this recognition for a range that makes finding a desk and getting connected the easy part of the working day.
Recognised for Design and Quality
Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs presents the Taiwan Excellence Awards each year. They recognise products that stand out for R&D, design, quality and market value.
This adds to earlier wins for both devices. The TD-0360 received an iF Design Award in 2024, and the TDD-1000 won its own iF Design Award in 2025. Each was chosen from nearly 11,000 entries worldwide.
About Qbic Technology
Qbic Technology was founded in 2014 and is based in New Taipei City, Taiwan. It’s listed on the Taipei Exchange (6825). Its in-house R&D team covers mechanical, electronics, software and industrial design, so Qbic builds its products from the ground up. It also runs its own SMT production and assembly lines.
Qbic’s range includes smart panel PCs, digital signage players, embedded systems and building-control panels. These are used in offices, education, healthcare, hospitality and retail. Qbic is also a certified NXP Independent Design House, which gives its engineers early access to new chipsets for better performance, security and long-term support.
Qbic hardware is software-agnostic, so it works with the booking and workplace platforms customers already use. Its steady investment in design, security and openness shows a real long-term commitment to the workplace technology industry.
