Single-Channel 4K HDMI Capture
The Magewell Eco Capture HDMI 4K Plus M.2 is a single-channel capture card for integrating HDMI video and embedded audio into computer-based production and streaming workflows. Its compact M.2 form factor is designed for installation in compatible systems.
Supporting HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4096×2160 at 60 frames per second, the card provides video processing and capture features for professional applications. It is compatible with Windows and Linux, and works with software including OBS, vMix, Wirecast and VLC.
HDMI Video and Audio Capture
The card captures HDMI video with embedded audio, supporting resolutions up to 4096×2160 and a maximum input pixel clock of 594MHz. HDR10 and a range of RGB and YUV signal formats are supported.
Capture output can be configured in several video formats, with options for scaling, de-interlacing and frame rate conversion. Actual capture rates depend on the selected format and system bandwidth.
Integration with Production Software
Eco Capture HDMI 4K Plus M.2 works with Windows and Linux applications using supported capture interfaces, including DirectShow on Windows and V4L2 on Linux.
Compatible software listed by Magewell includes OBS, vMix, Wirecast, VLC, XSplit and VirtualDub, as well as other DirectShow or V4L2 applications.
Compact M.2 Installation
The standard M.2 2280 Type M form factor measures 22mm by 80mm and connects to a compatible host through PCIe Gen3 x4. The HDMI input connection uses an LVDS 0.5PH 20-pin interface with a compatible HDMI adapter.
Designed for installation in compatible computer systems, the card has a maximum power consumption of approximately 6.6W and operates in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
